I have been thinking about this a lot lately... judgement and how we all do it and we all hate it when others do it to us and how do we stop believing that &amp;quot;our way is right&amp;quot; for everyone when really it&amp;#39;s just the way that works for us. I&amp;#39;m feeling a little tired of being judged, and what I&amp;#39;ve been thinking about is how it seems (and this is MY perspective based on my baggage and my very non-objective view of my experiences) that women are so much more guilty of a) judging and b) reacting as if they are being judged. A man says he&amp;#39;s sleep training his 3-month-old and other men don&amp;#39;t step in and say &amp;quot; Why are you sleep training him at such an early age?&amp;quot; A man just shrugs his shoulders. And the man who has announced that he&amp;#39;s sleep training his child wouldn&amp;#39;t freak out and cry and get defensive if someone did ask why he&amp;#39;s sleep training his child. If you have any answers, Allison, I&amp;#39;d love to hear them. I&amp;#39;m as guilty of being judgmental as the next mommy. And I&amp;#39;m as guilty of over-reacting and feeling defensive when someone questions my parenting. Some days I&amp;#39;d love to be more like a man.</content><link rel='edit' type='application/atom+xml' href='http://www.blogger.com/feeds/8438801840097887406/2847196890227222546/comments/default/4598507352799732843'/><link rel='self' type='application/atom+xml' href='http://www.blogger.com/feeds/8438801840097887406/2847196890227222546/comments/default/4598507352799732843'/><link rel='alternate' type='text/html' href='http://www.allisonsdailydrama.com/2011/11/guilty.html?showComment=1322582889332#c4598507352799732843' title=''/><author><name>Barb</name><uri>http://www.blogger.com/profile/13825917249577062457</uri><email>noreply@blogger.com</email><gd:extendedProperty xmlns:gd='http://schemas.google.com/g/2005' name='OpenSocialUserId' value='09192385506055495789'/><gd:image xmlns:gd='http://schemas.google.com/g/2005' rel='http://schemas.google.com/g/2005#thumbnail' width='32' height='23' src='http://4.bp.blogspot.com/_vcAWHP5W7Rg/SVjjE3MK_1I/AAAAAAAAAf4/l0uh-WchLzg/S220/proof285small.jpg'/></author><thr:in-reply-to xmlns:thr='http://purl.org/syndication/thread/1.0' href='http://www.allisonsdailydrama.com/2011/11/guilty.html' ref='tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8438801840097887406.post-2847196890227222546' source='http://www.blogger.com/feeds/8438801840097887406/posts/default/2847196890227222546' type='text/html'/><gd:extendedProperty xmlns:gd='http://schemas.google.com/g/2005' name='blogger.itemClass' value='pid-1549903619'/></entry></feed>
